Balakrishna, Boyapati Film Same Formula With Little Changes

Balakrishna is pretty excited with his next with Boyapati Srinu. He is fully confident that Boyapati will revive his fortunes at the box office after the three disasters he suffered last year in the form of NTR Kathanayakudu, NTR Mahanayakudu, and Ruler.

Boyapati is planning to elevate Balakrishna's heroism by showing him this time as a powerful factionist and also in a never seen before role as an Aghora. Boyapati is following the same success formula as showing Balakrishna as the leader of the masses, factionists, politics, etc. Just for a change, he introduced Aghora's character in the film.

Boyapati now decided to make few changes following coronavirus and the lockdown. The makers planned few schedules in foreign locations. But with no chance of even crossing the state borders, Boyapati is planning to shift the location to Visakhapatnam and ready a story with a local backdrop. Producers are pressurizing Boyapati regarding this.

It has to be seen whether Boyapati will present another hit to Balakrishna after his Simhaa and Legend.

Chiranjeevi: JVAS One in All Time Top 25 Classics

There is lot of variation between an industry hit and a classic. Industry hits are measured in terms of their collections. An industry hit must beat the collections of all the previous industry hits in its full run. 

A classic film, on the other hand, needn't be an industry hit. Given the extraordinary prowess exhibited by the actors and technicians, a film falls under the category of a classic film. 

However, there is a very rare group of films in which a film stands an industry hit as well as a classic. And then, Megastar Chiranjeevi's Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari falls under this category of films. 

Chiranjeevi posted a video snippet in his Twitter page explaining about the details and the greatness about JVAS. He said it's a timeless classic of Tollywood that stands one among all time top 25 classics of Tollywood. Now that the film completes three decades by tomorrow, the full version of the video maybe out tomorrow. 

JVAS was directed by K Raghavendra Rao under Vyjayanthi Movies. Late legendary actress Sridevi played Athiloka Sundari in the film. Maestro Ilayaraja is the music director.

Sharwanand, Chandoo Mondeti Film On Cards

Sharwanand who got a couple of reverses like 96 is now starring in Sreekaram under the direction of Kishore Reddy. Sharwanand is romancing Priyanka Arul Mohan in the film. Now reports are coming that Sharwanand is getting ready to show his power in a periodical love story. Sources say the film would be directed by Chandoo Mondeti and it has a backdrop of 1910-2021.

It is known that, Sharwanand earlier starred in a periodic entertainer Ranarangam under the direction of Sudheer Varma where he romanced Kalyani Priyadarshan and Kajal Aggarwal. The film, however, turned out to be an utter flop. Believing in Chandoo's script, Sharwa gave his nod for another experiment with a period entertainer.

Chandoo Mondeti is currently directing Nikhil in Karthikeya 2, a sequel for their blockbuster Karthikeya. The periodical love story between Sharwanand and Chandoo Mondeti will start after this film.  Sharwanand is keen to regain his Midas touch which he got after scoring hits like Shatamanam Bhavati and Mahanubhavudu.

Without RRR, Double Bonanza for NTR's Fans on May 20

Young Tiger NTR's fans might have been disappointed with the reports that NTR's first look teaser from RRR wouldn't get released for his birthday. But then, they will be compensated with two surprises on May 20 for sure. 

Harika and Haassine Creations have already confirmed that they would come up with a surprise for Young Tiger's birthday. Likely, the title of NTR and Trivikram's combo will be unveiled by the team. The team has earlier hinted that the film would be titled as 'Ayinanu Poyi Raavale Hasthinaku'. The film will be made as political entertainer with Delhi backdrop. 

If the ongoing speculations are anything to go by, there will be another earth-shattering announcement on the same day. Reportedly, NTR and KGF director Prashant Neel's pan Indian film announcement will come from horse' mouth. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll the project. More details are awaited.

NTR shows his kind heart

During corona time, almost all the sectors got hit drastically. Many lives in the film industry got affected due to the lockdown and stoppage of all activities. Many celebrities came forward to help the daily wagers in the film industry.

In the meantime, Young Tiger NTR who donated generously RS 75 lakhs to fight coronavirus, now once again showed his kind heart.

It is known that NTR is currently starring in RRR multi starrer along with Ram Charan under the direction of Rajamouli. He is readying for his next titled Ayinanu Poyi Ravale Hastinaku under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas.

Sources say NTR paid his personal staff their salaries well in advance and promised to help his staff members who suffer from any financial problems. Fans of NTR are moved with the gesture and say 'Saaho NTR, Neeku Salute'.

Senior character artiste Shivaji Raja suffers stroke, hospitalised

Senior character artiste and former MAA President Shivaji Raja has suffered a massive stroke at his residence this evening. Family members have rushed him immediately to a private hospital in Hyderabad.

As per the latest update from a close source who visited Shivaji Raja at the hospital, the actor is stable and there’s nothing worry about. He is currently under doctor’s observation. He will be undergoing a surgery day after tomorrow and doctors will install stents.

Noted actor to make a digital debut

Noted Tamil hero Jai is a familiar name in Telugu too as his films like Journey and Raju Rani did well here. The talented actor has a couple of interesting projects in the pipeline.

Neil Nitin Mukesh signs his next biggie in Tollywood

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh had made his Bollywood debut with Prabhas High budget action thriller, Saaho, last year. Unfortunately, the film ended up as a disappointing venture and Neil concentrated on his Bollywood projects, including his production debut film, Bypass Road.

Now, according to the latest reports, Neil has signed his second Telugu film and it will be a biggie. Apparently, the film’s shooting will take off from June, after the lockdown gets lifted. Neil is tight-lipped about the film and he said that more exciting details will be out very soon.

Acharya: Ram Charan, Anasuya Special Song

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is in mid of the shooting. Like every other film, Acharya shoot also got halted due to lockdown. Most probably, shoot will resume from June end. Regina Cassandra will be seen shaking her leg opposite Chiru in a special song which is going to be a feast with ultimate dances enacted by megastar.

It is known that, mega power star Ram Charan plays an extended cameo in the film directed by Koratala Siva. Now, it is coming out that, the film will have a special song between Ram Charan and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Scenes between Charan and Anasuya are also said to be highly entertaining. Both Charan and Anasuya were seen together in Rangasthalam where their chemistry worked wonders.

Mega daughter Niharika Konidela will also be doing a special role in the film being made under Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments banners. The makers are planning to release the film for sankranthi, 2021.

How Ram Replaced Allu Arjun In Jagadam?

Stylish Star Allu Arjun got his first big break with Arya in the industry. Director Sukumar with his debut film created a sensation on the screen. The one side love concept turned out to be a rage with the movie lovers. Sukumar then came up with Jagadam teaming with Energetic Star Ram. However the film did not attract movie lovers.

Sukumar planned Jagadam initially with Super Star Mahesh Babu and later Allu Arjun. However an argument with Dil Raju resulted in Sukumar teaming UP with Ram. Sharing the same Sukumar said, “When I was new in the industry, I did not know how to talk. I never thought that the world will be like us. After the success of Arya, I was over the moon. During that time I planned Jagadam with Allu Arjun. Story and everything got ready. However I had a small issue with Dil Raju. I couldn’t control my anger. I turned extremely emotional. That very night I went to Ram and told him the story and got the green signal. The next day muhurat for the project was kept and I invited Bunny and Dil Raju for the same.”

Currently Sukumar is directing Allu Arjun in Pushpa. He earlier scored a blockbuster with Ram Charan in form of Rangasthalam.

Balakrishna Okayed In Just 24 Minutes

Movie lovers, especially Balakrishna fans cannot forget Simhaa. Natasimha Balakrishna’s action entertainer directed by Boyapati Srinu that created a sensation at the box office breaking several records.

Balakrishna got a hit with Lakshmi Narasimha, a remake of Tamil hit Saamy featuring Vikram in the year 2004. However, right after that though Balakrishna featured in many different roles and films, he failed to attract not only movie lovers but also fans.

None of the films starting from Vijayendra Varma to Mitrudu attracted viewers. Everyone knows that Balakrishna does not bother about results but instead encourage new talent. But this time his fans went into depression due to string of disasters.

During that time, many producers started meeting Balakrishna for dates. During that time someone told him Boyapati’s name. He at once called Boyapati Srinu. During that time, Boyapati went to Vijaywada for his relatives’ marriage. Their conversation went on like this.

After three days

BK: Manam cinema chestunnam. Poorti Kadha siddam cheyandi.

The film turned out to be Simhaa. Boyapati said I narrated Simhaa story only for 24 minutes. Balakrishna liked it and the rest is history. He said when he met Balakrishna he said ‘Srinu nenento neeku telusu. Kottagaa undataaniki prayatinstunna. Kotta subject ani chebutunnaru. Kaani, screen paiki vellesariki adi undatam ledu. Edaina ante ‘balayya ilaa antunnaru’ ani nannu vimarsistunnaru. Entha varaku correct?”

Balakrishna and Boyapati are working together for the third time for a commercial entertainer where Balayya will be seen in two getups.

NTR and Prashant Neel Film Confirmed?

Young Tiger NTR seems to have decided to do a series of pan Indian films, henceforth. Right now, as everyone knows, he working with India's biggest multi-starrer RRR helmed by numero uno director Rajamouli. 

Straightaway, after RRR is wrapped up, Young Tiger will work with Trivikram for 'Ayinanu Poyi Raavale Hasthinaku'. This political and comedy entertainer will made as a multi-lingual pan Indian film. 

Lately, it was speculated that Bollywood's top director Sanjay Leela Bhansali would collaborate NTR for a period entertainer. But then, the latest we hear is that NTR was approached by KGF director Prashant Neel. Impressed with the director's script, NTR is said to have given nod for the director. Once Prashant completes his ongoing assignment KGF 2, NTR and Prashant's combo movie will go on sets. The film will made as yet another pan Indian film for NTR.

In the meanwhile, NTR will wrap up Trivikram's project.

Raashi Khanna signs star hero’s much-awaited film

Talented young beauty Raashi Khanna interacted with her Twitter fans this evening. During the chat session, Raashi made a big revelation about her upcoming projects, including Tamil star Suriya’s much-awaited film under Hari’s direction. This film marks Raashi’s first film opposite an A-list hero.

Raashi also revealed that she has signed the third installment of the super hit Tamil horror comedy franchise, Aranmanai. She promised her fans to come up with official announcements regarding two of her upcoming Telugu projects once the lockdown ends.

Vijay’s co-star keen to explore this genre

Ananya Pandey, who will soon be seen romancing Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s next, is a big fan of horror genre. Apparently, she has been watching quite a lot of horror films during the lockdown. “It’s a genre that I am definitely interested in and I would love to be part of a horror film,” Ananya said.

Before the lockdown was announced, Ananya was shooting for Vijay-Puri’s film in Mumbai, and the actress said that it’s going to be a fun film. “Vijay is going to debut in Hindi while I debut in South with this film. We are both nervous, but it’s a fun film to be part of,” Ananya said.

The actress also has another Hindi film, Kaali Peeli lined up for release, apart from Shakun Batra’s next which also has Deepika Padukone and Siddhanth Chaturvedi.

Disha Patani Special Song in Pushpa!

The other day, rockstar Devi Sri Prasad divulged that there would be a special song in his new film Pushpa like his usual practice. The song is expected to be one more 'Jigel Rani' kinda success from DSP's musical. 

And now, rumours are rife that Bollywood heroine Disha Patani may tap her feet alongside Stylish Allu Arjun in this crazy commercial entertainer. An official announcement from the makers is awaited.

It's recalled the film is being directed by Sukumar under Mythri Movie Makers. Rashmika Mandanna plays female lead. The film is made under red sanders backdrop and most of the film's shoot will be held under Seshachalam forest backdrop. The film will go on sets again once the lockdown is lifted.

Balakrishna Role Confirmed By Boyapati srinu

There have been rumors doing rounds about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s role in his ongoing film with director Boyapati Srinu which marks hat-trick film in their combination. Balakrishna actually plays dual roles and one of the roles is of an Aghora. The news is finally confirmed officially by Boyapati himself.

“We are coming up with a never seen before characterization for Balakrishna which also includes Aghora get up in NBK106. Script has come out very well,” informed the director who under the lockdown is fine-tuning the script. He also affirmed that, this new film will be far better to Simha and Legend.

Boyapati Srinu recently stated that, they are planning to rope in new actress opposite Balakrishna. The film’s key portions will be canned in Varanasi in next schedule after the lockdown restrictions are lifted. The film is being produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy.

Ramayan Highest Viewed Entertainment Program Globally

Ramanand Sagar's epic show Ramayan's return to television has worked wonders for Doordarshan. Ever since the show re-started in the lockdown, it's smashing viewership record.

Since March 28, when its re-telecast began on DD National, Ramayan continued to be the most-watched show in India, week after week. The show was back on Doordarshan to keep the viewers hooked to television so that they could stay at home.

Rebroadcast of Ramayana on Doordarshan smashes viewership records worldwide. The show becomes most watched entertainment show in the world with 7.7 crore viewers on 16th of April.

After the humongous success of Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan and BR Chopra's Mahabharat, another popular mythological show Shri Krishna is all set to be back on DD National. The show will begin its rerun on the channel from May 3 at 9 pm every day.

NTR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Pan Indian Film?

Here is an amusing buzz for Young Tiger NTR's fans which is making rounds in tinsel town. According to the reports, Bollywood's period films specialist Sanjay Leela Bhansali may direct NTR soon. 

The film is said to be a period film that has Bollywood hero Ranvir Singh in a negative shaded role. It remains to be seen whether these reports come true or not. 

Bhansali directed critically acclaimed films like Devdas, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat. 

Meanwhile, NTR is working for India's biggest multi-starrer RRR at the moment. The film is being directed by Rajamouli under DVV Entertainment. NTR will also be working with wizard of words Trivikram soon.

It's  rumoured the makers would announce the film's title which has been circulated as 'Ayinanu Poyi Raavale Hasthinaku'. 

That's okay! But then, some fans are dubious if there would be no first look teaser from RRR. If at all, team RRR also decides to release the first look teaser, it's going to be a double bonanza for NTR's fans. Let's wait for that feast from NTR's films.

Nag Ashwin Ready with Bound Script for Prabhas

Young Rebel Star Prabhas confirmed Mahanati director Nag Ashwin for his 21st venture. According to a significant development from the director, the bound script has been readied by Nag Ashwin in the lockdown period. 

Right now, the director is awaiting to narrate the story to Prabhas. So, post the lockdown is lifted, Young Rebel Star may listen to Nag Ashwin's script. Even then, the film can't go on sets that earlier. Since Prabhas's ongoing film Radheshyam (tentative) is on sets and should get more than half of the part is wrapped up, Nag Ashwin and Prabhas's combo film will roll down only in the first half of 2021. And the film is likely to hit screens in 2022.

Billed to be a socio fantasy entertainer, the film will be produced by Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. A Bollywood heroine will be roped in for this crazy project.

Buzz:Charan As Hero In Mahesh’s Production?

Back then, the rumours are all about Mahesh Babu doing a film for Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions. While both Megastar Chiru and director Koratala Siva have given clarity about that act, there is another rumour doing rounds now. This time, it says that Ram Charan will be acting in a film for G Mahesh Babu Entertainment.

Well, director Vamsi Paidipally, who is trying hard to impress Mahesh Babu with his gangster movie, has moved on, it looks like. While Mahesh didn’t like the second draft of the script as well and took Parasuram’s film, the director is said to have pitched a story to mega hero Charan, which bowled the latter instantly. And now, Mahesh is said to have given assurance that he will produce this film for Vamsi as he’s not acting in it.

For  the kind of friendship, Charan-Mahesh enjoys and Vamsi-Mahesh developed recently, surely a collaboration between them is possible. But then, we couldn’t say anything about this collaboration happening now as Charan got occupied with #RRR already and he has to complete his part for Acharya too. Only then, this film will surface.

Meanwhile, Charan is said to have given nod for a love story by Gowtham Tinnanuri of Jersey fame and another film that will have UV Creations as the producers. So we have to wait and watch which director’s film with Charan happens first and who will be producing it.
