Bollywood Hot Beauty Rejects Ravi Teja’s Film?

Mumbai beauty Malavika Mohanan, daughter of SRK’s Don and Mahesh’s Maharshi cinematographer KU Mohanan, was supposed to make her Tollywood debut with a high budget sports drama. Unfortunately, the producers had to shelve the project after the budget went overboard by the end of the first schedule.

Meanwhile, Malavika played the female lead in top Kollywood star Vijay’s upcoming action thriller, Master. Her ultra hot photoshoot pictures continue to attract Tollywood filmmakers. And here is an interesting update.

Apparently, director Ramesh Varma, who is making his next project with Ravi Teja, recently approached Malavika and offered her the female lead’s part.

But to his shock, Malavika is said to have politely declined the offer. Apparently, she told him that she is not interested acting in Tollywood at the moment.

Well, when most of the upcoming starlets from Mumbai and other film industries are looking towards Tollywood for a quick career growth, Malavika’s decision to distance herself from Tollywood is surely surprising.

Latest update on Saaho director Sujeeth’s engagement

A couple of days ago, we had reported that Saaho director Sujeeth will be getting engaged to a dentist turned screenplay writer named Pravallika. The engagement is scheduled to be held on June 10th and it’s said to be a love cum arranged marriage.

Now, the latest update is that the engagement will take place at Golconda Resorts in Hyderabad. The auspicious muhurtham is at 9 am on June 10th. Due to the lockdown, only 50 guests, including family members and friends from either side will be gracing the occasion to bless the young couple.

Sharwanand’s next is a bilingual with top Tamil producer

Hero Sharwanand is all set to make a comeback in Kollywood with a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. This as-yet-untitled film will be directed by a debutant named Shree Karthick and bankrolled by noted Tamil producer Prabhu SR, who had produced acclaimed Tamil films such as Khaidi, Aruvi and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (Khakhee).

Sharwa had earlier acted in a couple of straight Tamil movies such as Engeyum Eppodhum (Journey) and JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai (Rajadhi Raja). This new bilingual film will mark his comeback in Kollywood after five years. More details about the project will be out once the lockdown gets lifted. Sharwa is currently working on a village drama, titled Sreekaram.

SRK has a special role in Madhavan’s next!

Shahrukh Khan’s long hiatus from films was supposed to end this year with quite a few projects lined up, including a proposed project with Raj-DK and Atlee to name a few. The actor hadn’t announced any new project since Anand L Rai’s Zero flopped at box office; however, several reports in Bollywood suggest that he will seen in special roles in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Madhavan’s next film, Rocketry.

Buzz is that Shahrukh Khan will be seen as a journalist who interviews ISRO scientist, Nambi Narayanan. The film is narrated in a series of flashbacks, and so, Shahrukh’s role is said to be quite crucial to the film. It’s no secret that Madhavan and Shahrukh Khan share a good rapport, and Madhavan had also played a key role in SRK’s Zero.

Meanwhile, SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment has been making web content for Netflix in the recent past. It remains to be seen what Shahrukh Khan decides to do next with Bollywood slowly trying to stand up on its feet.

Hero Allu Arjun often shares some cute videos of his children, Allu Ayaan and Arha, on his social media accounts. In a latest video, Ayaan’s cute conversation with Siri on Bunny’s Apple Watch is amusing all the Allu fans.

In the video, Ayaan asks if Siri is his uncle Allu Sirish. Even as Siri goes clueless, Ayaan continues to ask it – “When will you get married?”. To this, Siri tells Ayaan that it doesn’t have answer to his question. Joining the fun banter, the Stylish Star wrote, “Apple Siri and Allu Siri don’t have an answer for that.”

Disappointing news for Pawan Kalyan fans?

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film Vakeel Saab’s shooting is stalled due to the lockdown. The film is expected to resume its shoot soon after the government gives the permissions for shootings.

Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, news came out that producer Dil Raju is in no hurry to resume Vakeel Saab’s shooting as he is waiting to get clarity on when the theaters will reopen. The latest buzz is that Dil Raju wants to resume Vakeel Saab’s shoot after three months and he is said to be in plans to release the film during Sankranthi, 2021.

If the news turns out to be true eventually, the delay will surely disappoint all the fans of Pawan Kalyan.

Special makeup test for Balakrishna’s Aghora getup

Star hero Balakrishna will enthrall his fans by donning the Aghora getup in his ongoing film under Boyapati Srinu’s direction. In the film, tentatively titled Monarch, Balayya will also be seen as a leader from Rayalaseema.

As per the latest reports, Boyapati Srinu will conduct a special look test with Balayya very soon. Already, Boyapati has designed two looks for the Aghora role. He will test both the Aghora getups on Balayya to finalize one look.

A new heroine is said to in talks to play the female lead opposite Balayya. Miryala Ravinder Reddy is producing the movie.

RGV claims ‘Climax’ is a blockbuster

Eccentric filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s latest film, Climax, had its world digital premiere on Shreyaset mobile app last night. This erotic thriller features popular adult film actress Mia Malkova in the lead role. As usual, RGV tried to play to the gallery by titillating the audience with some sensual visuals in the promos.

Now, RGV took to Twitter and released a poster which claims that Climax has become a huge success. Apparently, the makers expected an audience of 50,000 initially. But 1,68,596 people watched the film so far, which means that the film has collected Rs 1.68 crore.

Climax is available for streaming on a pay Rs 100 per view basis. This collection is indeed huge considering the negative reviews and the film being pirated by malicious websites.

Balayya ready to act in a multi-starrer with NTR

A lot has been gossipped about the strained relationship between the Nandamuri uncle-nephew duo, Balakrishna and NTR. However, both the actors have always maintained that all was well between them and ruled out having any issues.

In a latest interview, Balakrishna was asked about the long-cherished dream of the Nandamuri fans – a multi-starrer featuring him and his nephews – NTR, Kalyanram and Taraka Ratna. And Balayya promptly said that he is ready to share screen space with NTR and his other nephews anytime.

Balayya also added that the Nandamuri multi-starrer will materialize only when filmmakers approach him with a terrific script. “When we join hands for a film, it should be a memorable project and it should not be made with an intention to just make money,” Balayya said.

Mani Ratnam’s web-series with 9 directors?

It’s been recently reported that acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Mani Ratnam will be foraying into the digital world by spearheading a web-series under his Madras Talkies banner. Mani will be making this series for a leading OTT platform.

In an interesting update, it’s been learnt that Mani’s web-series is titled Navarasa and it will feature nine episodes, with each episode highlighting each rasa from Bharata’s Natyashastra. Gautham Menon, Karthik Naren, Bejoy Nambiar and Aravind Swami have been roped in to direct one episode each, apart from Mani Ratnam himself. More details about this ambitious project will be revealed soon.

Uppena’s run time locked

A day back, we had reported that star director, Sukumar, the co-producer of Uppena is busy sitting with the editing department and is making the film crisp by deleting all the unnecessary scenes from the romantic drama.

The latest we hear is that the film has been edited completely and the run time is now locked at two hours 30 minutes. The film was supposed to release during the month of April but the lockdown happened.

The makers are waiting for the theaters to open so that they can release the film. Buchi Babu Sana is directing this film which also has star hero Vijay Sethupathi in a key role.

Priyamani As Comrade Bharathakka In Virataparvam

Dusky Beauty Priyamani who took some break after Mana Oori Ramayanam that was released in 2016 is making her comeback to Tollywood as a character artist in Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer periodic romantic action entertainer Virataparvam directed by Venu Udugula.

On the occasion of Priyamani’s birthday, makers of Virataparvam revealed her first look poster. She plays Comrade Bharathakka in the film and her first look is amazing. Draped in comrade costume, Priyamani looks euphoric here. Her actions in the picture are contradictory to her character in the film.

Before lockdown was enforced, Virataparvam completed most of the shoot except for last schedule which will be canned once the permission is granted for film shoots. The first look posters of Rana, Sai Pallavi garnered good interest and Priyamani’s also creates curiosity.
