Exciting update on Vijay’s Master

Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming action entertainer, Master, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies of this season. The film, which was supposed to hit screens in April as a Tamil New Year treat, has been postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown.

And here is an exciting update on this high budget entertainer. Master’s co-writer Pon Parthiban revealed in an interview that the film is based on a true story. Apparently, director Lokesh Kangaraj has prepared the story based on a real-life character he had met in the past. Needless to say, there will be a lot of curiosity among fans to find out who the person behind Master’s story is.

In the film, Vijay reportedly plays a gangster turned college lecturer. Stay tuned for more details.

Special treat from RRR on NTR’s birthday

After Team RRR stunned fans with the special teaser on Ram Charan’s birthday, expectation and anticipation on NTR’s special birthday teaser have been humongous. However, there has been no official announcement by the makers in this regard and even the lockdown extension didn’t give any hopes to fans.

But here’s a surprise announcement. In a latest interview with a popular English daily, RRR’s producer DVV Danayya said that Rajamouli is “planning something” for fans on NTR’s birthday on May 20th. Whether it will be a teaser or a poster or a totally different content will be known in a couple of days. Stay tuned for further details.

Young comedian Jabardasth Mahesh got married

Popular young comedian Jabardasth Mahesh, well-known for his impressive performances in the acclaimed films such as Rangasthalam and Mahanati, has entered wedlock this morning. Mahesh tied the knot with Pavani at 6:31 am.

The wedding took place at the bride’s residence in Sivakodu village in Razole, East Godavari. Due to the lockdown restrictions, only a few immediate family members graced the joyous occasion and blessed the newly-weds.

RGV's Climax Teaser out

Controversial director, Ram Gopal Varma is back with a film titled CLIMAX. Starring pornstar Mia Malkova in the lead role, the film is said to be a thriller set in desert backdrop.

Meanwhile, this afternoon, RGV unveiled the teaser of the film. Going by the teaser, it is evident that the film is going to be a racy thriller along with some bold glamour show from Mia Malkova.

Looks like more than the narration, RGV focused on presenting Mia in a tempting manner. Even the last shot in the teaser has Mia in a semi-nude avatar.

Here’s why Chiru trusted Sujith for Lucifer remake

Fans and industrywallahs were totally surprised when Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed a couple of weeks ago that he is in talks with Saaho’s director Sujeeth to helm Lucifer’s Telugu remake. And the reason behind this reaction was nothing but Saaho’s disappointing box-office result in the South and critics panning Sujeeth’s underwhelming job.

However, Chiru is said to be quite impressed with how the young director handled big stars like Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay and several others. Handling such prominent actors and a Rs 400 crore budgeted film is no mean feat and Chiru being a veteran in the business understood it and gave Sujeeth the responsibility of directing Lucifer’s Telugu remake.

Sujeeth is currently working on the film’s script and is making necessary changes to adapt this Malayalam blockbuster political drama to suit Telugu sensibilities.

RX 100 hero flop films gets a good TRP rating

Karthikeya’s youthful entertainer, 90 ML failed to impress the audience. Though Karthikeya’s performance brought him a good name, due to lake of interesting narration the film bombed at the box office.

The film had its first-ever TV premiere on Star MAA last week. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film registered an impressive of 10.92 Urban TRP ratings.

A flop getting the above TRP is something of which budding heroes like Karthikeya should celebrate for sure.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Songs Records creating on YouTube

It is needless to say, the kind of sensation created by Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo at the box office. Having collected Rs.162+ crores worldwide share, the film stood as an industry hit (non BB) of Tollywood. 

On one side, the film weaved a magic at the ticket windows, while on the other, film's songs created numerous all time records on Youtube. Songs like 'Samajavaragamana', 'Ramuloo Ramulaa', 'Butta Bomma' and other songs were viewed by millions on Youtube.

NTR Breaches a Milestone on Twitter

This is just about the statuses of Tollywood stars on Twitter platform we are talking about. Young Tiger NTR has achieved a rare feat on his Twitter handle today. His followers count has breached 4 million mark on Twitter. 

With this landmark feat, NTR occupied 4th place among Tollywood stars next to Mahesh Babu, Rana and Allu Arjun.

Latest update on Ravi Teja’s Krack

Hero Ravi Teja’s ongoing action ntertainer, Krack, is one of the Tollywood biggies that has been stalled ever since the lockdown was announced. The Mass Maharaj fans have pinned high hopes on this intense cop drama as it’s coming after four flops from the actor.

And here’s the latest update on Krack. The film’s producer Tagore Madhu told a popular English daily that Krack’s entire shoot has been wrapped up and that only 5, 6 days of patchwork is left to be shot. The entire production formalities will be completed as soon as the government allows the shootings to resume.

Krack has Shruti Haasan playing the female lead. This Gooichand Malineni directorial has its music composed by Thaman.

Bollywood actress ready to work with Prabhas20

It’s been earlier reported that yesteryear Bollywood heroine Bhagyashree is making her acting comeback with Prabhas’ highly-anticipated 20th film. In a latest interview, the 51-year-old actress opened up about working on the Prabhas-starrer.

Bhagyashree said that she had begun shooting for the film just before the lockdown was announced. She went on to add that she is playing a very interesting character and that she had to learn a different skill set for it. However, Bhagyashree was tight-lipped about revealing more details about her role or the movie.

Prabhas20’s shoot was nearing completion when the lockdown was announced. The team will be wrapping up the entire production formalities within a month once the lockdown gets lifted. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady and Radha Krishna Kumar is the director of this film.

Manchu Vishnu on a mission to find Telugu bravehearts in Indian Army

Hero Manchu Vishnu took to Instagram earlier today and revealed his new, long-cherished mission which took everyone by surprise. He started off saying that one must always salute to three people – mothers, farmers and soldiers.

Vishnu went on to explain his mission – of spotting the Telugu bravehearts in the Indian Army to let the world know their valour and sacrifices. Vishnu requested his fans and followers to reach out to him through Direct Messages in case they are aware of any courageous Telugu soldiers.

Corona Effect On Khairatabad Ganesh: Only 1 Ft Height

The outbreak of Covid-19 has cast a dark spell on the Hyderabad city’s jubilant mood to celebrate festivals of different religions. Ganesh Chathuthi will be a low-key affair this year with the lockdown is expected to be extended for few more weeks.

Today is a special day for director Boyapati Srinu as he completes 15 years in Tollywood. Srinu’s first film, Ravi Teja’s Bhadra, released on this day (May 12), in 2005. Produced by Dil Raju, Bhadra was an action family entertainer and it was a big success at the box-office.
