Won’t Join Politics: Rajinikanth
Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who was all set for his political debut and all set to make a formal announcement about the launch of his new political party on December 31st, has withdrawn his plans. Rajini did a volte-face. Rajini has finally announced that he will not join politics.
The superstar took to Twitter and posted a lengthy announcement through 3-page letter. Rajinikanth cited his health condition as the reason for not opting for politics.

Rajinikanth said he sees the recent incident in his life as a message from God. He said what happened during the shooting of Annaatthe in Hyderabad where the film’s crew tested positive and he subsequently admitted to hospital due to fluctuation in his blood pressure as the message of God.
It may be recalled that Rajinikanth was hospitalised in Hyderabad last Friday due to high blood pressure. A team of doctors at Apollo has treated him and advised him a week of bed rest. The medical experts asked Rajini to stay away from tensions and stress due to his health condition. Rajini, who discharged on Sunday, has returned to home in Chennai. Rajini’s decision on politics come as a huge disappointment to his fans who have been waiting for his political entry with bated breath.
Rajini’s no to politics is expected to affect the political scenario in Tamil Nadu the state that is heading for Assembly elections soon after the demise of two of its political stalwarts Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi.
Ram Charan Tests Covid-19 Positive
Joining the growing list of film celebrities who have contracted the coronavirus, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan on Tuesday morning took to his Twitter page to announce that he has tested positive for the virus. He dropped a message saying “I have tested positive for Covid-19. No Symptoms & Quarantined at home. Hope to heal soon & come out stronger.” He has further requested all of them who have been around him in the past couple of days to get tested.
The news immediately reached millions of fans who are wishing him a speedy recovery. Most recently, Ram Charan and all the cousins from Mega family gathered to celebrate Christmas event wherein he was seen engaging closely and taking pictures with everyone. Charan’s isolation for the next couple of weeks may keep him away from all his schedules. The RRR star said that he will share more updates on his recovery soon.
Last month, Megastar Chiranjeevi also announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and a couple of days later, he revealed that it was due to a faulty kit which gave a false positive result.

Young Tamil actress Ammu Abhirami’s look as Dr. Umaa is revealed in the new poster and she looks simple yet beautiful in it.
Ammu Abhirami is famous for her role opposite Dhanush in Vetrimaaran’s Asuran and Vishnu Vishal’s Ratchasan. She is debuting in Telugu with FCUK. She is also making her debut in the OTT world with an upcoming show in Netflix. With the tagline “Umaa is Ummah”, Ammu is sure to steal the hearts of Telugu movie lovers with FCUK.
Vidyasagar Raju is directing FCUK and Damu is bankrolling it under Sri Ranjith Movies banner. Young actor Ram Karthik also plays a lead role in the movie. FCUK will hit screens in summer next year.
Noted director in plans to make a Daggubati multi-starrer
It’s well known that it was a dream of legendary producer Daggubati Ramanaidu to make a multi-starrer featuring his son Venkatesh and grandson Rana. However, Ramanaidu’s dream remains unfulfilled till date. Recently, there were reports that both Venky and Rana will share screen space with each other in a project.
Now, in a latest interview, Ramanaidu’s elder son and veteran producer D Suresh Babu has revealed that Shatamanam Bhavati director Satish Vegesna recently expressed his wish to direct a multi-starrer with Venky and Rana. The director is currently busy with his son’s launch pad film, Kothi Kommachi. He had already begun penning the script for the Daggubati multi-starrer, and the project will go on floors if the script excites Suresh Babu.
Balakrishna’s key role in KGF 2, says Google
KGF Chapter 2 is one of the most eagerly awaited movies in the country. The Yash-starrer is in the last leg of its shoot and a grand pan-Indian release is being planned for next summer. Meanwhile, the world’s most popular search engine Google has pulled off a major surprise.
When you search KGF 2 in the Google search bar, in the cast list, apart from the photographs of all the film’s lead actors, Tollywood hero Balakrishna’s photographs also appears much to everyone’s surprise. Google further says that Balayya will be seen in the role of Inayat Khalil.
However, there has been no official announcement regarding Balayya’s presence in the movie from the makers. Well, this could end up as one of the major goof ups by Google in 2020.

Tiruppur Subramaniam: We thank Vijay for releasing 'Master' in theatres. January 13 is the release date!
Tiruppur Subramaniam, the President of the Tamil Nadu Theater Owners and Multiplex Association met the media to thank actor Vijay for releasing Master in theaters despite completing the film ten months back.
"Several OTT platforms offered lucrative price to the Master team but Vijay was firm in his decision to release the film only in theaters. Though Vijay can start his new film, he is waiting for Master's theatrical release. We expect other big stars in Tamil to support the theatrical business. Rajini, Kamal, Vijay, and Ajith have become big stars because of theatrical business", said Subramaniam and added: "We whole-heartedly thank Vijay for this gesture". He also confirmed that the film will release in theaters on January 13.
Subramaniam also said that there is nothing wrong with Vijay's meet with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. "Actors in Telugu and Kannada are meeting their Chief Ministers for the betterment of their respective industries. If Vijay had met the CM, we thank him. All big stars should appeal to the Government for the growth of the industry", said Subramaniam.
The veteran distributor said that the exhibitors in Bollywood are excited and they have promised a grand release for Master in Hindi.

NTR & Prashanth Neel Film On?
There have been speculations about NTR and Prashanth Neel teaming up for a high-budgeted action drama. Apparently, the duo met and held talks as well. Meanwhile, the announcement of Prashanth Neel and Parabhas’ Salaar had come. This led to rumours that Prashanth and NTR’s film got shelved. However, it is learnt that there is no truth in these rumours.
Apparently, NTR and Prashanth had not discussed Salaar. The duo discussed another project which we hear is it is very much on. Since NTR is making his debut into Bollywood with SS Rajamouli’s RRR and has the likes of Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn along with Ram Charan, NTR is said to be keen on teaming up with Prashanth Neel and it is also expected to be a pan Indian film.
However, NTR and Prashanth’s collaboration is expected to take some time since both are engaged in other projects. NTR has also a film with Trivikram Srinivas which will immediately take off after he wraps up RRR. In the meantime, NTR is holding talks with Prashanth. The KGF director is also keen on NTR as he is aware of his acting prowess. The duo’s collaboration is expected to be a crazy one.
Mahesh Gets Christmas Goodies From PK And Anna
For special occasions Tollywood celebrities are indulging in gifting and sending special customised hampers to each other. Earlier for Diwali, it was Superstar Mahesh Babu who had sent such things to many Tollywood celebs and those who received them shared it on social media.

Two heroines to romance Prabhas in Salaar
It is a known fact that Prabhas is doing a film called Salaar in the direction of KGF fame Prashanth Neel. The film will go on floors in the last week of January as per the update.
Now, the update is that not one, but the film will have two heroines. One of the heroines being considered is Disha Patani as we have already revealed to our readers.
Now, the makers are also looking for the second heroine as of now. One more noted star is expected to do this part. The shooting will be wrapped up in four months is the latest update.
Prabhas will be seen in a titular role in this film which will be filled with action. Hombale Films, who made KGF are producing this film

Directed by A. L. Vijay, Thalaivi traces the life events of J Jayalalithaa played by Kangana Ranaut along with the humungous contribution of MGR in her journey to stardom and politics.
South Indian Star Arvind Swami is all set to make his comeback in Bollywood after his remarkable performances in Roja and Bombay. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh, the film is directed by Vijay.

FCUK is touted as a romantic comedy entertainer and it also features young actors Ram Karthik, Tamil actress Ammu Abhirami and child artiste Sahasritha in key roles. Vidyasagar Raju has directed the film. The shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production work is underway at the moment. The film is scheduled for release in January.

Dil Raju has Vakeel Saab and F3 in the pipeline as of now. But the latest update is that Dil Raju has once again started working on small budget films and has assigned a team to make these content-based films on a low budget.
