Balakrishna Role Confirmed By Boyapati srinu

There have been rumors doing rounds about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s role in his ongoing film with director Boyapati Srinu which marks hat-trick film in their combination. Balakrishna actually plays dual roles and one of the roles is of an Aghora. The news is finally confirmed officially by Boyapati himself.

“We are coming up with a never seen before characterization for Balakrishna which also includes Aghora get up in NBK106. Script has come out very well,” informed the director who under the lockdown is fine-tuning the script. He also affirmed that, this new film will be far better to Simha and Legend.

Boyapati Srinu recently stated that, they are planning to rope in new actress opposite Balakrishna. The film’s key portions will be canned in Varanasi in next schedule after the lockdown restrictions are lifted. The film is being produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy.

Ramayan Highest Viewed Entertainment Program Globally

Ramanand Sagar's epic show Ramayan's return to television has worked wonders for Doordarshan. Ever since the show re-started in the lockdown, it's smashing viewership record.

Since March 28, when its re-telecast began on DD National, Ramayan continued to be the most-watched show in India, week after week. The show was back on Doordarshan to keep the viewers hooked to television so that they could stay at home.

Rebroadcast of Ramayana on Doordarshan smashes viewership records worldwide. The show becomes most watched entertainment show in the world with 7.7 crore viewers on 16th of April.

After the humongous success of Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan and BR Chopra's Mahabharat, another popular mythological show Shri Krishna is all set to be back on DD National. The show will begin its rerun on the channel from May 3 at 9 pm every day.

NTR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Pan Indian Film?

Here is an amusing buzz for Young Tiger NTR's fans which is making rounds in tinsel town. According to the reports, Bollywood's period films specialist Sanjay Leela Bhansali may direct NTR soon. 

The film is said to be a period film that has Bollywood hero Ranvir Singh in a negative shaded role. It remains to be seen whether these reports come true or not. 

Bhansali directed critically acclaimed films like Devdas, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat. 

Meanwhile, NTR is working for India's biggest multi-starrer RRR at the moment. The film is being directed by Rajamouli under DVV Entertainment. NTR will also be working with wizard of words Trivikram soon.

Update on NTR and Trivikram's Film on May 20

As anticipated by all of us, there will surely be an update on the eve of Young Tiger NTR's birthday that falls on May 20. But then, isn't it from RRR team?

Harika and Haassine Creations, the producers of Young Tiger and Trivikram's combo film have made it official that they would come up with an update on May 20. Furthermore, they created a hashtag, '#NTRBdayFestBegins'. 

It's  rumoured the makers would announce the film's title which has been circulated as 'Ayinanu Poyi Raavale Hasthinaku'. 

That's okay! But then, some fans are dubious if there would be no first look teaser from RRR. If at all, team RRR also decides to release the first look teaser, it's going to be a double bonanza for NTR's fans. Let's wait for that feast from NTR's films.

Nag Ashwin Ready with Bound Script for Prabhas

Young Rebel Star Prabhas confirmed Mahanati director Nag Ashwin for his 21st venture. According to a significant development from the director, the bound script has been readied by Nag Ashwin in the lockdown period. 

Right now, the director is awaiting to narrate the story to Prabhas. So, post the lockdown is lifted, Young Rebel Star may listen to Nag Ashwin's script. Even then, the film can't go on sets that earlier. Since Prabhas's ongoing film Radheshyam (tentative) is on sets and should get more than half of the part is wrapped up, Nag Ashwin and Prabhas's combo film will roll down only in the first half of 2021. And the film is likely to hit screens in 2022.

Billed to be a socio fantasy entertainer, the film will be produced by Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. A Bollywood heroine will be roped in for this crazy project.

Buzz:Charan As Hero In Mahesh’s Production?

Back then, the rumours are all about Mahesh Babu doing a film for Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions. While both Megastar Chiru and director Koratala Siva have given clarity about that act, there is another rumour doing rounds now. This time, it says that Ram Charan will be acting in a film for G Mahesh Babu Entertainment.

Well, director Vamsi Paidipally, who is trying hard to impress Mahesh Babu with his gangster movie, has moved on, it looks like. While Mahesh didn’t like the second draft of the script as well and took Parasuram’s film, the director is said to have pitched a story to mega hero Charan, which bowled the latter instantly. And now, Mahesh is said to have given assurance that he will produce this film for Vamsi as he’s not acting in it.

For  the kind of friendship, Charan-Mahesh enjoys and Vamsi-Mahesh developed recently, surely a collaboration between them is possible. But then, we couldn’t say anything about this collaboration happening now as Charan got occupied with #RRR already and he has to complete his part for Acharya too. Only then, this film will surface.

Meanwhile, Charan is said to have given nod for a love story by Gowtham Tinnanuri of Jersey fame and another film that will have UV Creations as the producers. So we have to wait and watch which director’s film with Charan happens first and who will be producing it.

Young Tamil girl Priyanka Arul Mohan made an impressive debut in Tollywood with Nani’s Gang Leader last year. She is currently playing the female lead opposite Sharwanand in Srikaram. And if the latest buzz is anything to by, Priyanka will be paired opposite Nithiin very soon.

Apparently, the makers of Andhadhun’s Telugu remake have roped in Priyanka to reprise Radhika Apte’s role in the Telugu version. However, an official announcement is awaited in this regard. Ramya Krishna is said to be in talks to reprise Tabu’s role.

Heartbreaking: NTR mourns Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan’s demise

Movie lovers across the country are heartbroken with the untimely demise of two of Bollywood’s most popular actors, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, back-to-back due to cancer. While Irrfan breathed his last yesterday, Rishi Kapoor has left this world earlier today.

Tollywood star NTR took to Twitter and expressed his shock over the sudden passing of both the legendary actors. Tarak said that it’s heartbreaking to lose the supremely talented Irrfan and the legendary Rishi Kapoor and described their demise as a devastating loss for Indian Cinema.

Bollywood Top Hero Rishi Kapoor No More

Bollywood legendary hero Rishi Kapoor passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai on 29th of April. He is 67 and is survived by wife Neetu Singh (actress), a daughter and the son Ranbir Kapoor (actor). This legendary actor has been suffering from the chronic cancer for quite some time. 

Rishi Kapoor was the second son of legendary hero and filmmaker Raj Kapoor and the grandson of of another legendary filmmaker Prithviraj Kapoor. 

Rishi Kapoor made his acting debut as a child artist in Shree 420 while he was first seen as a hero in blockbuster film Bobby released in 1973. Rishi Kapoor appeared last on sceen in 2019 with the film 'The Body'.

Rishi Kapoor had many blockbusters and super hits in his career such as Bobby, Amar Akbar Anthony, Phool Khile Hein Gulshan Gulshan, Sargam, Chandini and many others. Over a span of 27 years between 1973 and 2000, he enacted 92 romantic films thus proved his mettle as a romantic hero.

Rishi Kapoor received the national award for his child artist role in Mera Naam Joker while he was the recipient of Filmfare's best actor award in 1974 for Bobby. Further, he was honoured with Filmfare Life Time Achievement Award in 2008.

Rishi Kapoor's demise is an irrecoverable loss to the world of cinema. Cinejosh is deeply saddened with the legendary hero's demise. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the members of his family. May his soul rest in peace!

Oscars Changing Eligibility Criteria, Thanks To COVID-19

Despite opposition from some members, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the body that doles out golden statuettes every years, has approved a rule change that will make made-for-streaming movies eligible to win Oscar awards. But there’s a caveat: digital-only movies will be considered only for the current awards year.

With most of the world under lockdown owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, theatres in Los Angeles and elsewhere have been forced to remain closed, leading many producers to question the Academy’s insistence on movies being shown on the big screen for at least a week to qualify for the Oscars.

This overture to streaming platforms, however, should not be construed as the Academy changing its eligibility criteria altogether. Academy members David Rubin and Dawn Hudson reiterated that there was “no greater way” to experience movies than at a theatre, and that his ad-hoc move was meant to support “members and colleagues during this time of uncertainty.”

Ram Creates South India Record

Much to everyone's surprise and amusement, energetic star Ram has created a rare feat on Youtube. Ram has emerged the only hero in South India to have got four films that surpassed 100 million views each on Youtube. 

Ram's latest film iSmart Shankar and previous films Vunnadi Okate Zindagi, Hello Guru Prema Kosame and Nenu Sailaja have joined 100 million views club.

As we know, Ram's iSmart Shankar, directed by maverick director Puri Jagannadh, stood as a huge hit at the box office. Currently, Ram is working for a thriller under Kishore Tirumala's direction. Sri Sravanthi Movies is the production house.

Irrfan Khan passes away

Actor Irrfan Khan, who was suffering from a rare form of brain cancer, succumbed to the deadly disease. He breathed his last at the intensive care unit of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where he was admitted two days ago with a colon infection.

Irrfan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumor in Feb 2018 and since then he had been fighting against it. He took treatment in London but was not fruitful. 53-year-old Irrfan was survived by wife Sutapa Sikdar and children Babil and Ayan.

Besides his extensive work in Hindi cinema, he acted in British films and Hollywood films. He had received numerous awards including National Film Award and Filmfare Awards. In 2011, he received Padma Shri for his contribution to the field of arts.

He had worked in the Academy Award-winning films Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and several other international films such as Jurassic World, Inferno, New York, I Love You, The Warrior, The Namesake, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Darjeeling Limited.

Buzz: Trivikram Is Re-Writing The Whole Of #NTR30

It has come out long back that Trivikram has already completed the total script of his next film which has Jr NTR in the lead. And then, a title poster of this film is expected on the eve of Tarak’s birthday on May 20th. Amidst rumours that the film, titled ‘Ayinanu Poyiravale Hastinaku’ is set for shooting post lockdown, here comes a mega buzz.

Apparently Tarak needs huge time now to come and join this film as #RRR will be completed only by the end of the year in the present scenario. While Rajamouli needs to finish 20% of the film’s shoot, carving that small part is a daunting task now as getting actors from other countries, erecting sets and handling VFX work is no easy post the lockdown. For that reason, Trivikram has a minimum of 6 months in hand to do pre-production.

The director is said to have felt that he has been carving the same formulaic stuff all the time, and he wants to give a new spin to the film by re-writing almost 50% of the scenes. Already his associates are entrusted with the job of coming up with new ideas for certain sequences in their political thriller which is being narrated from a family backdrop.

Anyway, Tarak’s fans are waiting for May 20th to get the update about #NTR30, while #RRR has already disappointed them.

Latest buzz on Ram Charan’s next

A few days ago, we had reported that Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is interested to give a chance to the young slot of directors after his ongoing film, RRR. News is also that a few new directors are also in the race to direct Charan.

Meanwhile, a few months back news came out that Yevadu director Vamshi Paidipally had met Charan and narrated him a storyline but later there is more development regarding the news. Now, again the buzz circulating social media is that Charan’s next project is locked with Vamshi Paidipally and an official announcement regarding the same will be out soon.

However, we have to wait and wait if the news becomes true or not.

Rumor : Mahesh asked Parasuram for new story?

There has been back and forth over Mahesh’s next for a while. After Sarileru Neekevvaru hasn’t turned out as expected, Mahesh is so keen on his next and doesn’t want to compromise on script like Sarileru where it was all done and shot in a very short time.

Now Mahesh has decided to give enough time to the director of his next. While Vamshi Paidipally was given a lot of time, he couldn’t come up with a convincing script which made Mahesh walk out of the project. And Mahesh has opted for Geetha Govindam director Parasuram.

While Parasuram had narrated a story with the aid of director Koratala Siva, Mahesh has given his go ahead. But unexpectedly, Corona Virus spread and lockdown have changed a lot of things. Whilst the initial story has significant portion set up in the United States, considering the prevailing conditions shooting a film in the US wouldn’t be reality for next 6 months to 1 year at least.

Meanwhile, Mahesh has asked Parasuram for a new story. He said to have asked Parasuram to come up with a matured love story. It’s been very longtime Mahesh did a pure love story. Whilst his previous films were message oriented, his last film Sarileru was a commercial potboiler.

So, Mahesh has decided to do a matured love story. This is indeed interesting. And Parasuram has given the task. With the existing lockdown, Parasuram may easily come up with such nice love story laced with feel good factor. Gopi Sundar has been roped in to compose music for the film who is doing for the first time with Mahesh.

Rowdy is back with Mythri

Finally, it looks like hero Vijay Devarakonda’s next film and the producer of the film are locked after lots of consultations and meetings. It’s no easy to escape from a producer and do other films these days as economic losses are being considered very seriously by Producers Council in Tollywood. And that made Vijay change his next film’s producer.

Actually Vijay is going ahead with director Siva Nirvana’s movie under Dil Raju’s production after her wraps Puri Jagan’s Fighter.

But then, there is Mythri Movie Makers in between from whom Vijay has not only taken a huge chunk of remuneration but also they have spent almost 5 crores on the now stopped “Hero” movie. As this producer is said to have pressed hard that Vijay should do a film for them first, finally Dil Raju has given up they say.

Now, Vijay’s next under Siva Nirvana’s direction will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers while Dil Raju will be doing another project with this actor. Maybe if his Hindi debut film works, then Dil Raju might be partnering with the producer of Vijay’s next Hindi film as a producer of the Telugu version.

Megastar Wants No Questions on Acharya

Chiranjeevi is at the center of attraction as he initiated the Corona Crisis Charity to help the poor and needy of the Telugu film fraternity. While many media houses are eager to interview Chiranjeevi as he is the most happening in Tollywood, the Mega Star said to have his own concerns. It’s said that the actor doesn’t want to take any questions on his ongoing film Acharya being helmed by Korata Siva.

Even when some reputed media houses have asked some questions about Acharya, Chiru has taken it in his stride and smartly avoiding answering to the questions on Acharya by saying, “Wait and watch”.

So, at the moment, Chiru doesn’t want to talk about Acharya as there seems to be some confusion surrounding the special character in the film which will have about 25 minutes screen time.

Since it’s also Corona time, Chiru doesn’t want to talk about his movie either. But for media persons who are interviewing Chiru are getting upset as the star is not revealing the updates of his ongoing movie.
