Mahesh Becomes Lockdown's Luckiest Hero

Prince Mahesh Babu emerged the luckiest hero of this lockdown season. The makers of his new project haven't spent even a penny on the project coz. Mahesh hasn't given nod for any project, indeed! 

Earlier, there were rumours that Mahesh Babu had some health issues and was advised rest upto August by the doctors. And some other tittle-tattlers speculated that Mahesh is ambiguous with his new film's director which made him dillydallying to take an instant decision on his new film which, eventually, made his new film delayed which turned a bless in disguise now. 

Barring Mahesh Babu, all other big stars' ongoing projects fell under severe crisis. Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya, King Nagarjuna's Wild Dog, Victory Venkatesh's Naarappa, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab and Viroopaksha, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR's combo film RRR, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa, Young Rebel Star Prabhas's Radheshyam and many other heroes' projects are facing hardships at the moment. Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati's combo is affected as the the makers couldn't get a clarity on other major star cast of the film with call sheets issues. 

Mahesh Babu is said to the best family man. He loves spending maximum time with his wife Namratha and kids Gautham and Sithara. With no project is on the sets, Mahesh hits a goldmine to celebrate every fraction of  a second with his family in these tough times of lockdown.

Young Tiger NTR has aimed at a series of pan Indian films. Right now, he is working for India's biggest multi-starrer RRR under Rajamouli's direction. Afterwards, he will team up Trivikram for a political comedy entertainer 'Ayinanu Poyi Raavale Hasthinaku'. This film is also supposed to be a pan Indian film. 

Lately, it was tattled that NTR  may join his forces with KGF director Prashant Neel. However, the combo might not get materialized as another director Atlee has narrated a script to NTR.

Atlee delivered a series of super hits Theri, Mersal and Bigil to hero Vijay. The track record of the director is outstanding. But then, all of his films are filled with Tamil flavour extremely. In such case, NTR could be risking with this director.

Meanwhile, it's learnt that writer Vijayendra Prasad helped Atlee introducing him to NTR to narrate the story. Earlier, Vijayendra Prasad did script work for Atlee's Mersal.

Young actress turns COVID-19 call centre operator

Young Malayalam actress Nikhila Vimal, who had earlier acted in Telugu films like Mesa Needs Abbayi and Gayathri, has turned an operator at a COVID-19 call centre in her hometown Kannur, Kerala. Nikhila notes down the list of essential things required by people of Kannur and reports it to the authorities and the volunteers deliver the items at people’s doorsteps.

Apparently, Nikhila was attracted by a government awareness campaign and volunteered to be part of the initiative. She travelled around 20 kilometres to assist the authorities and the people. Nikala is one of those Mollywood celebs who are working in tandem with the government to help the needy in these trying times.

Basic theme of Prabhas-Nag Ashwin film revealed?

It is a known fact that superstar Prabhas is doing a film in the direction of talented director Nag Ashwin. The film will go on floors in 2021 as of now.

Meanwhile, many know by now it is a science fiction film. But we have come to know from our sources is that it is a time travel film where the characters go into a specific time zone.

This news is not confirmed by the makers but sounds super interesting. Knowing Nag Ashwin’s talent and the way he writes his scripts, this film is going to be one hell of a ride for sure.

Rajamouli defines ice and water backdrops of RRR

first look poster and a special video of Ram Charan from RRR created a sensation of sorts. NTR was seen in the backdrop of water and Charan’s role will have fire as its theme. But what will happen when both fire and ice come together.
The answer to the question lies with none other than Rajamouli as he quotes that the force generated by the ice and water can run the motor of the world.
The quote was released today by the production and it has straightaway lifted the spirits of all the fans. D VV Danayya produces this film which has music by Keeravani.

Crazy combination on cards for Bunny’s next?

Arjun Reddy director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is yet to announce his new project. Sometime back, news came out that he will collaborate with Rebel star Prabhas for an action drama but there are no further details regarding the project.

Now, the latest speculation among film circles is that Sandeep is planning to approach Allu Arjun for a film. News is also that if Bunny likes the script narrated by Sandeep, it is most likely going to be the hero’s next project after the ongoing film, Pushpa.

Director gives 1 rating to rumors on Samantha’s film

It looks like director Nandini Reddy is miffed with the ongoing rumors on her next film with Samantha. For the last few days, there have been non-stop speculations that Nandini is remaking yet another Korean hit with Samantha playing the main lead.
This morning, Nandini took to Twitter and busted all the rumors. She clarified that her next film is not a remake and that it’s an original script. “Whenever Samantha and I do our next we will announce it with a lot of joy and pride. Now, time for the next rumour …..my rating for this rumour is 1/5…. come on guys u can do better,” Nandini tweeted.
It’s worth mentioning that Nandini Reddy’s past two movies with Samantha, Jabardasth and Oh Baby, were unofficial and official remakes of Band Baaja Baaraat and Miss Granny respectively.

Vijay Deverakonda's World Famous Lover is out on Netflix for you to binge watch while social distancing

After Dear Comrade, Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda was seen in another romantic-drama, World Famous Lover.  The film directed by Kranti Madhav, released this year on Valentine's Day. WFL stars four actresses- Aishwarya Rajesh, Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa and Izabelle Leite in female lead roles. Well, two months after the release, the film is now available to watch on Netflix. Will Pawan Kalyan Go For Budget Hike?

After the COVID-19 outbreak gets settled and lockdown gets lifted, like all film stars even Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will be resuming work. With only some parts of Vakeel Saab left, the Janasena President will wrap them before moving to his film with Krish. And here is an interesting discussion going on about this latter movie.

Apparently Krish is hugely fond of countries like Morocco and Georgia where he has shot films like Kanche and Gautamiputra Satakarni. And he is said to have planned a massive schedule in Morocco for Pawan Kalyan's movie as well where he wants to film certain scenes in forts and desert backdrop. But then, the impact of COVID-19 is felt on Morocco too, as the country registered 1800+ positive cases and 126 deaths as well.

Reports are coming from the film's unit that due to the constant fear that will be haunting crew members to not risk going there to any foreign country in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, Pawan is said to have advised Krish to erect sets for the same here in Hyderabad. And some forts will be recceed in India itself to wrap the shoot and set extensions will be done in CG if required.

However, this process is going to increase the budget of the film for sure. And if a budget hike is required, will Pawan cut his remuneration down and give a green signal for the hike, or what? That seems to be the thing worrying producer AM Ratnam now. Let's see what happens.

I Didn't Act Well In Some Scenes Of Aravinda Sametha

After a film came out and got received quite well by the audiences, there will be no actor who claims that they have done wrong. Most of them usually say that they have poured lots of blood and sweat into delivering their part rightly. But then there is Jagapathi Babu, who loves to stay faithful to the things he has done, reveals things in the same way.

Other day, during a video interaction, Jagapathi Babu revealed that he is using the lockdown time to analyse his own work from the past. "Entertainment is not important now, the realisation is important. So I'm watching my own movies to introspect my work and analyse my mistakes, such that I could do a bit better in the coming days" he says, adding that he watched many of his recent movies first.

Talking specifically about 'Aravinda Sametha', Jaggu Bhai revealed that he hasn't done well in few shots. "There are certain close-up shots of mine where I didn't do well. The audience may not find it out, but I could easily say that the expressions are bad and untrue, as my mood is not great that day. That's why I'm learning to control my mood swings such that I could do better work in the near future" he added.

Such a finest introspection from a talented actor and his roles in films like Jr NTR's Aravinda Sametha, Ram Charan's Rangasthalam are quite memorable. All credits also go to Trivikram and Sukumar respectively.

Ranveer Singh to work with her for the third time

Ranveer Singh is a star to watch out for especially after Padmavat. He is doing multiple films and was appreciated a lot for his role in the film Gully Boy.

The film was directed by Zoya Akhtar and the latest we hear is that Ranveer is once again going to work in her direction very soon as Zoya has narrated a beautiful script to Ranveer.

If this project happens, then it will be the third film with Zoya that Ranveer will be doing. They had already done Dil Dhadakne Do earlier.

Koratala Siva to turn producer after lockdown?

With a lot of time on hands thanks to the ongoing lockdown, several Tollywood celebrities are carefully planning their future projects. And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, star director Koratala Siva is planning to turn a new chapter soon after the lockdown ends.

Apparently, Siva will be turning producer with a small budget movie which will be directed by one of his Assistant Directors. Furthermore, Siva himself is said to have penned the script for the movie. More details will be out in the next couple of weeks.

Siva was rumored to be turning producer last year itself, partnering with his close friend. Whether the director’s maiden production will be a joint production or his own will be known once he comes up with an official announcement. Stay tuned for further details.
